This unit is in SMSL's Flagship Product lines and is a Digital Integrated Power Amplifier with most type of Digital Inputs (AES, USB, Coaxial, Optical & Bluetooth) + a RCA Analog Line Input + a Subwoofer output as well. And an external DAC is NOT required as it implements newest digital technologies to transfer sound to your Speakers. However, there is an internal built-in ADC (Analog-to-Digital Converter) to handle the sound signal should you choose to use RCA Analog Input. This design works great with my Stereo system with powerful energy and smooth & detailed sound. And it is especially great and very convenient for PC Laptop/Desktop as All-in-One Box concept setup.
