MinimServer can do convolution using MinimStreamer.

Not a “plug&play” solution and need some effort to get it work but it works.

You can search in the Minimserver support forum, this is one of many threads about this.

A quick question: is it possible to custom tag (specially genre) albums/artists of streaming services that are added to the library (like in Roon)? Or are we stuck to the tag provided by qobuz/tidal (like in LMS)?

so the application is purchased, I look forward to its further development

App removed and subscription cancelled … sadly not a single update during 15 days  …

• the app crashes at the end of db update task
• the app freezes when a music source is removed
• gapless issues as reported by other users
• wrong behavior when comma or colon is used in the tag content (in Artist tag at least)
• wrong behavior when SET SUBTITLE is used in multi disk albums 
• search options on track details (clickable links) only available on some app path and not on other paths, very confusing and not ergonomic at all
• very basic set of tags available in Focus function (no Conductor, Soloists, Period, Orchestra, Work …) hence not Classical music oriented at all

if an app is so expensive the expectations are very high … furthermore the statement

“During development we focused on streaming services” 

is really worrying

No, you will have to update via AppStore. I will inform here when the update is available.

This is not possible at the moment.

Not yet, but I know someone who has that combo. We have to investigate.

""," is used by the app to split artists in the various tags, because the character is used in multiple servers, including MinimServer, when joining different values in artists, composers and genres tags. If the app does not split by ",", the metada will be less rich.
Intead of "Frank, Elvis, Simon" become 3 different artists with names "Frank", "Elvis" and "Simon", the app will assume there is only one artist named "Frank, Elvis, Simon".

Of course for multitag artist, the app can avoid spliting the value in each tag, but for tags like "AlbumArtist", "Composer", "Genre" this must be done, and using artists with "," in their names will became a problem.

This doesn’t happen in Lumïn, as reported before.

Here an example about Adam, Adolphe

and, as I merge in Artist tag the Work, this is what happens in JPlay while Lumïn handles it in the right way

Lumïn can handle it because it can interpreter this MinimServer property 

upnpCustom = multiTag={artist}

but unfortunately this property must be removed from MinimServer using JPlay as in this case JPlay will show only one item of Artist tag

Linn app does handle this cases in the right way too

First time poster but long time follower of this website. I recently downloaded the app to stream to my IFI Pro IDSD Signature. It finds the dac no problem but when I try to play songs (regular as well as MQA) it  gets stuck, it shows a loading symbol instead of the play button. When I try to play another album a message at the top appears stating "Renderer in Transition wait to finish and try to play again". No matter how long I wait, the song(s) never play.  No matter what settings I use (such as gapless, safe transition mode, Force stop before play, etc.) the problem persists. 

Any Idea what I may be doing wrong? 

I like to move away from MConnect if at all possible.

Hi Jack, do you know if that iFi unit uses a ConversDigital Ethernet interface for UPnP?

I did some digging and was only able to find out that the Pro IDSD Signature uses Linkplay Wifi/network for streaming.

OK, that will help @Marcin_gps figure out what’s going on. Rather than troubleshoot every make and model of audio device, it far easier to troubleshoot a group of them at the same time.

Try the following in the renderer setup section.( the little wheel tat appears next to the IfI pro when you select it)

Set Gapless and Safe mode to on.

works for my Zen Stream, SMS200 and WiiM mini so may also work for you.

I’ve had a similar experience with my Oppo205, although in my case the first or sometimes also second track in the queue play fine, then you get the loading symbol and no more playback, with subsequent “renderer  in transition“ or “error.. to renderer“ messages.  Have tried every combo of settings without success and for now at least have abandoned the app as currently unworkable in my case.

Can you please try enabling logs in the app, reproduce the issue and send the logs to [email protected]?

For multitag artists, we can assume that the information already came splitted from the server and don't do anything on our side, assuming that each tag contains only an artist. In the next version it will be possible to indicate in the app if the server uses multitag for artists. But for tags like composers, albumArtist, that are a single tag, we will have to split the artists, and if you use artists with comma in their names, it will be a problem.
