If you look around on this site you'll find several references (some by me) to the e-Onkyo versions as sounding excellent. You won't be sorry if you buy them.
I'm also interested. Acc'd to my rip of the CD, it has an average DR of 6, with a range of 4-7. Lower than what I'm usually able to listen to comfortably, but it sounds okay to me.
Would like to know if the 24/48 is any different.
I listen in a home office which has my music server and stereo, and also a PC for work/pleasure. Typically I'm at the computer and listening to music from the audio system.
Recently seemed that I'd lost volume (3-6db) in the stereo. Was turning the volume up a couple of notches more than I'm used to.
